Film Festivals

This page highlights my experience navigating film festivals from both creative and producing perspectives. As a development assistant, mentee, and audience member, I have gained practical insight into how films circulate within festival ecosystems, how programming contexts shape audience reception, and how filmmakers strategically position their work for international platforms. These experiences have shaped my approach to storytelling, production strategy, and long-term career development within the global film industry.

Tribeca Film Festival 2026 (TBA)

I was recently selected as one of only 25 students for the exclusive "Tribeca Craft & Commerce of Cinema" program at NYU Stern, a partnership with the Tribeca Festival Board. This upcoming intensive, which includes mentorship from the festival’s founders, will allow me to study the precise intersection of art and commerce.

Jackson Documentary Film Festival 2025

Held in Jackson, Tennessee and developed across Los Angeles and New York, I managed critical on-the-ground operations for the annual Jackson Documentary festival.

My responsibilities included coordinating screening schedules, liaising with venues, and overseeing day-to-day logistics to ensure smooth execution across events.
I provided direct support to participating directors, assisting with schedule management, travel coordination, and on-site needs, while also supporting VIP guests and industry attendees. Through this role, I gained hands-on experience in festival operations, stakeholder coordination, and the practical realities of managing a multi-location cultural event.
