Minah Son is a Director/Producer based in New York, NY.

Originally from Seoul, Korea, Minah is a senior at New York University, majoring in Cinema Studies with minors in Producing and Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology (BEMT). Her creative experience spans both fiction and documentary filmmaking, with a deep interest in visual storytelling through music, dance, and emotionally grounded narratives. 

Minah’s films have been recognized at film festivals such as Naples Film Award, International Independent Film Awards (LIFA), Los Angeles Film Awards, and New York International Film Awards (NYIFA).

She is currently collaborating with an award-winning director/producer based in LA to publish a book that addresses a major social crisis in South Korea. The project is expanding into a film and book concert aimed at raising awareness and driving change. She is also currently interning for a Tribeca-alumnus filmmaker and showrunner.

Passionate about both the creative and logistical aspects of filmmaking, she is eager to further explore how impactful stories are developed, financed, and brought to life.
